Is
there a charge to me for staying at the Maternity Home?
No, there is no cost to stay at Cherish House, however
donations to the ministry are welcomed. Cherish House is supported
by the loving generosity of area residents, churches, and civic
organizations.

YES! Personal development, employment and education are
encouraged unless restricted by a physician.

How long can I stay at Cherish House after the birth of my
baby?
Cherish House is a maternity home for you to stay at until the
birth of your baby. We are not set up to house mothers and their
babies after delivery. During your stay at Cherish House you will
have worked on a care plan that includes future housing for you
and your baby. This care plan may be going back to live with your
parents, a shepherding home, or independent living with your baby.

Cherish House offers both professional counseling and
volunteer mentors who can help you develop a plan that is right
for you and your baby.

Yes, a child birth instructor from the local hospital comes to
Cherish House.

Cherish House offers referral adoption assistance to those
residents who choose to place their babies for adoption.
